Jonathan Waldrup '11 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a freshman at Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, Mn. I am about 6'2" and wrestle in the 184 pound weight class. This will be my 4th year wrestling.  My first year record was 21-18, 2nd was 33-12, and my senior record was 48-2. In the semi-final of the regional tournament I broke my fibula, but finished the match by tech fall and was forced to take 2nd place. This forced me out of the individual state tournament. I am the captain of my team who I help push and recently got 4th in the TSSAA A-AA dual tournament. I also believe that I could help push others to improve at a much higher level. One of my biggest goals is to further my education. I am willing to go to college pretty much anywhere I could go, as long as I can participate in wrestling. I plan to major in business in college and pursue a good life. As long as I could participate in wrestling in college, I would be happy. I hope to further my skills and help out whatever school I wrestle for. With only 3 years under my belt, I think that I could be very good some day, and perform to the best of my abilities.
