Personal Statement

Hello, I'm Kyle Ferguson and I currently attend Manchester High School as a senior. I am 6'1,  as of now,  I currently weigh 120  and I'm very flexible.  I've been wrestling for over 12 years now, and it's safe to say that I love this sport.Last year, I finished 7th in the state of Ohio and was a Qualifier the year before. According to the Brakeman Report, my weight class was one of the toughest weights in the state and I placed 7th this year as well. I also made the National Team my Freshman year for Freestyle and I just wrestled for the Ohio National team in freestyle and greco in Fargo. Believe it or not, I look forward to practices, and enjoy working hard because it has showed me that hard work is greatly rewarded. This isn't only in wrestling though. I have managed to maintain a 3.2 GPA throughout most of my high school career, and I plan to work even harder this year to make this higher. I would have to say my best qualities are how outgoing and friendly I am, as well as a very hard worker and a leader.  I have been a team captain on my wrestling team since my sophomore year, and I love to lead on and off the mat. I not only am one of the leaders on the team, but I also help coach our youth wrestling program, and enjoy doing so.  I love having fun with my family, and playing sports; paticulary wrestling.  It has always been a dream and a goal of mine to wrestle throughout college, and hopefully win a National Championship (or 2 would be nice), and I plan to work as hard as I can to achieve this.

The main reason I have started this recruiting profile is to inform ANY college that has the requirements in education, and athletics, that I am interested and would be more then glad to talk with or even visit them. I am still undecided in what career i plan to follow, but as of now, I'm looking at something in the field of communications. As I have already stated, my dream has always been to wrestle in college and that is what I am hoping to do. I also would love to stay in the North/South Eastern part of the U.S, but if not I still am open to any opinions you might have.So if interested feel free to e-mail or call me, and I would be more then happy to talk with you about my future. Thank you for reading!

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
