Ian Martin '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8" 138 lb. wrestler from Hickory, NC. I have wrestled for 14 years in three different states (PA, OH, NC) and have 4 years of experience as a varsity member of my wrestling team. I wrestled for Eastern Lebanon County High School (PA) my freshman year, then finished my high school career at St. Stephens High School (NC). I have been deemed a Disney Dual All-American, four time Academic All-American, and I was All-State my Junior year. I have a 4.1 GPA and a 24 ACT score.

I am looking for a college that will prepare me Academically for my future as an orthodontist. I am looking to major in Biology or Pre-Dental. In terms of a wrestling program I am looking for a coach that is going to push me both as a wrestler and student. I am a well-rounded individual that has great leadership qualities, work ethic, and passion for the sport. Proximity to home is not a major factor in my college selection but I would like to attend a medium to smaller DI College or any DII, DIII, or NAIA College.
