Casey Provost '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Casey Provost, I started wrestling in 8th grade. I had a successful first year on the modified team and was put on the varsity team the next year. I struggled all year long and ended the season 5th in sectionals with a 10-27 record. I put in work throughout the offseason and it paid off the next year by moving up to 3rd in the section. I then was invited to go to practices with Coach Mike Hogan and Coach Joseph Demeo where I was learning and improving every day. When I reached the junior year of varsity I was putting up high team points when needed the most as well as being sought out as a leader in the team. I have now won the Section 7 title and competed in the NYSPHSAA tournament in Albany. I'm currently a varsity captain and alternating between 138 and 145lbs.
