My love for wrestling has been with me for as long as I can remember. From the time I first strapped on my wrestling shoes till now, this program has made me the person I am today, a strong, motivated, determined, and caring person.
I have always envisioned myself being a highly competitive college wrestler and the closer I get to it, the more realistic it gets. The infinite hours that I have put into making myself better is what makes me believe I can make it at the highest level. When I get there my determination and passion for the sport will drive me to be the best I can be. I learn from my mistakes and move on. My motivation and determination have not only been learned on the mat, but by the examples set by those who have impacted my life. I love volunteering my time to work with and share my experiences with younger wrestlers in my community as well as listening and learning from examples set by my coaches and other mentors and peers in my life. This sport has made me not only a better athlete, but a better person. It has guided me into a better mindset for life.
I have had many accomplishments to date and plan on having many more. My goal this year as a Junior is to place in States and other prestigious tournaments around the country. Along side of my wrestling I want to peruse a great education. I want my last four years of school to benefit me and to give me a head start in the real world. My ultimate goal is to be successful on and off the mat through continuous hard work, motivation and determination.
