I was introduced to the sport of wrestling when I was 6 years old. I have participated in many other sports over the years, but knew wrestling was my true calling. My current career record is 69-30. My goals for senior year are a District Title, a Region Title, 35+ wins and two wins in the state tournament. In college my aspiration is to compete at the highest level of competitiveness and become the best wrestler I can be. When my collegiate career is over I hope to become an All-American. I would be a good candidate for a wrestling team at the collegiate level because I am strong, fast, technical and have a very good work ethic.
I am determined to be the best student athlete I can be. I have consistently taken honors classes over the last three years. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.83 on a 4.0 scale. I am the captain of the wrestling team and always try to set a great example for others. Earlier in my junior year I was invited to attend a Leadership Workshop led by former 3x Penn State Defensive Captain Lee Rubin.
I support school activities and events and have been a participant in the annual Black and Gold spirit contest each year. Last summer I was employed as a bus boy and will continue to work in the offseason to help finance college.
