"Once you've wrestled, everything else in life is easy" -Dan Gable. This is a statement that describes my approach to success. Wrestling is a sport I love and all my accomplishments I have achieved are because of the work ethic I have. I also have a supportive network to assist me but ultimately it comes down to my hard work, determination, and discipline. I strive for the best both on and off the mat. I take great pride in my academics and I look to use wrestling as a tool to help me both continue my love for the sport and to achieve the level of education I desire.
I fell in love with wrestling when I was eight years old. My parents forced me to try it and boy am I glad they did. Starting off I did not do so hot but once I had a few matches under my belt it all went up from there. In youth I had great success which led me into having success in high school. Currently I'm looking to win the state title. Then I plan on getting right back into it for next year to step up and win a collegiate national title. I am looking for a college that will meet my educational needs and also propel me onto the next level in my wrestling career.
