Personal Statement

I believe I possess the qualities that represent purpose and vision. I work very hard academically and athletically and enjoy the challenge and competition both in and out of the classroom.
I have been blessed with great successes, teams, and awards on the field , in the classroom, and mat. I have earned through my hard work and sacrifice, with the support of family, coaches, teachers and friends. 4Wrestling Letters, The Bulldog Most Inspirational Award, The Bulldog Most Valuable Player,  2013 Heavyweight State Qualifier, 2014  220 pound State 3rd Place,2014 National Qualifier, 2015 Region2 Champion, 6th place state. I have earned 3Football Letters, , The DeRose Lineman Award, 1st team All League, 1st Team All Chieftain.I have earned 2 Track Letters for shot put and disc. I have earned  A CHS Band and Jazz Band letter, NHS member, 2014 Boys State. The Superman Award, been on HonorRoll, Academic Letter, the Rivalry Game Series student athlete award.  None of this I could have accomplished without putting the time in , hard work, and the support of those around me.
I have been honored to have shared with my classmates, and team mates countless hours practicing, studying, at freshman, JV and varsity games and events, Concert and Jazz Band events,in travel and in fundraising. I especially enjoyed my time volunteering with The Steel City Wrestling Club, Middle School Tournaments and The CHS Jazz Band. I really enjoyed the Bands trip to San Diego in April 2014. We had fundraised for 2 years.
In the future I would like to wrestle at the next level. The one thing I really like about wrestling is it teaches you to win and lose graciously. There is always someone stronger and faster, and there is no substitute for hardwork. I have earned the respect and friendships of my peers, teachers, and coaches. I believe I help inspire others to work hard because my hard work, dependability, and support of others has given me great opportunity.  I was lucky enough to attend the Virginia Beach High School National Wrestling Tournament over spring break , it was an awesome, eye opening experience
I worked the hardest for my academic achievements. I have spent countless hours in the classroom before and after school before practice to keep my grades up and stay eligible to participate, keep up with training ,and support others because training is difficult both mentally and physically.
In the future I plan to contribute my hard word and time in service of others .I will lead by example. I will use my opportunities, friendships, relationships and successes in the service of others in scholarship. In the future I would like to attend college to teach or coach.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
