I have wrestled for Clovis High for 3 years, and have wrestled second string. But wrestling as second string at Clovis High is quite different than regular schools. I wrestle varsity level tournaments and place highly in most tournaments I wrestle. I have been behind wrestlers such as Jonas and Daniel Gaytan, and Kristian Olivas (all state placers). In a letter of recommendation my coach noted that if I were to wrestle at any other school I could potentially be a state qualifier (I will happily email said letter to any coach interested). We as a team have won state three years in a row and last year we were the best team in the nation. I would be grateful for a chance to wrestle in college, and would consider it a great opportunity. I hope to study psychology in school, and eventually earn a PhD. This year in wrestling I hope to make the lineup and become a state qualifier.
