Parker Osterman '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Parker Osterman and I am an 18 year old senior.  I currently have a 4.3 GPA and am interested in pursuing a degree in Health Sciences/Athletic Training/Sports Medicine. Excelling in academics is a priority for me and will continue to be in college. Excelling in the sport of wrestling is also a priority for me. I am very motivated and self-driven and spend much of the off-season training and wrestling. I have wrestled since I was three years old. I competed in freestyle and folkstyle in USAW in AZ. In my high school career, I have 145 wins and 17 losses in three years of wrestling varsity. I placed third in State at 106 lbs. as a freshman, 2nd in State at 126 lbs. as a sophomore, and 3rd in state at 138lbs as a junior.  My goal for my senior season is to be a State Champion.  I am extremely dedicated to the sport of wrestling and work very hard to achieve my goals. To reach these goals,  I have spent the last 3 summers at wrestling camps, including completing the JROB 28 day Intensive Camp at the University of Minnesota in 2014. I am very motivated to compete at the collegiate level, and continue to be a student of the sport of wrestling.
