My main goal for becoming a collegiate athlete is to improve my level of play as much as I possibly can and continue to enjoy the sport I already love. I have been playing water polo for four years. I loved the pre-game butterflies since the very first moment I started playing. My freshman year I realized just how important water polo was to me and being a collegiate player was my goal because water polo is my passion.
I completely understand the meaning of being a student-athlete. The student comes before the athlete. I work hard to keep my studies at a strict balance with my sports endeavors. I am proud to say that I am a straight A student, all while taking the maximum AP courses available to me. My following years will be filled with as many AP classes as my schedule will fit, to help towards college. Although I am very committed to school and water polo I am also involved in various activities outside of that. I am involved in the art club, HYPE club, a representative for the Interact Club (community service), and I am also involved in 4-H.
Over all, my dream is to succeed in playing water polo at a competitive, collegiate level along with furthering my studies in medicine.
