College Aspirations -

My goal is to combine my love of learning and volleyball by obtaining a bachelor's degree and furthering my volleyball opportunities.

Good Candidate -

I am a good candidate because I value education and I am passionate about volleyball.  I work hard to understand the coaches to make my team and myself better.  I lead through example and work hard to encourage others.  I am mentally and physically strong. 

What makes me different -

I stood out as an athlete from a young age.  My coaches were surprised when I could do things other kids my age couldn't.  This pushed me to do more.  I saw the older kids and wanted to be like them, so I pushed myself to be able to play with them.  I went to every AAU and open gym I could.  I attended camps and played with anyone who was willing.  When I see someone better than me it makes me want to work even harder.  I hold myself to a high standard and work everyday to improve.  

Academics -

I realize that education is important and valuable.  It allows me to do what I love.  I work hard both on and off the court.
