Ashlee Thornock '16 Recruiting Profile

I'm excited to be able to start my recruiting process. I've loved volleyball my whole life and have always had a desire to play at the collegiate level. I am a hard worker and am very driven. I like to be challenged because it pushes me to find a way to rise above. One of my favorite quotes is, "Don't run from challenges, run over them." -Nike. I think this is a perfect example of my mind set. One goal I reached recently was to be able to touch the basketball rim. I am working hard on my vertical to improve this everyday.

 I have never had less than a  4.0! In my high school academics and am ranked 1 out of 212 students. I realize that working hard in the classroom is important, and it has taught me responsibility and time management.

I love volleyball. I love it for the way it makes me feel and I love being apart of a team that pushes me to become better on a daily basis. Being successful in volleyball is and always has been very important to me and I am going to do all that I can to make sure I achieve my goals.
