Courtney Schulz '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2" senior from Spencer, WI. I play middle hitter/blocker and outside. I've started on varsity since I was a freshman. I received honorable mention all-conference as a freshman and 1st team unanimous all-conference as a sophomore, junior, and senior years. I was also voted MVP for my volleyball team. In the off season I play club volleyball, and in each of the 4 years that I've played I've been on the top team for my age division. This year I had a career high of 400+ kills with a 65% attack percentage, 96% serving percentage, and 75 solo blocks. I met my goal of 1000 career kills during my senior season. I also play varsity basketball and softball, but my passion is definitely volleyball. On a volleyball court I bring skill, intensity, leadership, and heart. I've been a captain of both my high school volleyball and basketball team. Volleyball has taught me the true meaning of being on a team; my own success excites me but when my team succeeds is when I feel a true sense of pride. It has been a dream of mine to play college volleyball.
