Halle Olson '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" Outside Hitter from River Falls, Wisconsin. I am entering my seventh year of JO volleyball with Kokoro Volleyball. Last year, our Kokoro 15-1s team won the USA Volleyball National Division National Championship!  I am a two year starter on the River Falls High School varsity team as an Outside Hitter.  As a starter, I helped lead my team to the first Conference title in 21 years as a freshman and won it again my sophomore year. We made it to the first State Tournament in school history my freshman year and returned my sophomore, ending up as state runner-up.  I led the varsity team in kills both seasons and had the highest passer rating.  I made first team - all conference both years and was named to the All-State team my sophomore year. 

I pride myself on having a positive attitude and you will usually see a big smile on my face when I’m playing volleyball and just in general!  I am a very hard worker who always pushes to be my best self in the classroom and in the gym.  I am looking for a university that offers a strong computer science program and in general I hope to find a place that feels like “home”.  I would like to play for a volleyball program that is competitive, and that would push me to be the best volleyball player I'm capable of being. I am interested in schools in the Southeast as well as the Midwest, however, I am open to colleges in other parts of the country that are a good academic and athletic fit for me.
