A lot of who I am comes from my parents. They have taught me that self motivation is one of the most important factors when striving to become successful, and that respect and positivity can last a life time. Volleyball has always been a huge part of my life since a young age. From when I first picked up a volleyball at age 7 at the YMCA to when I first started my club experience at age 12, volleyball has been my biggest passion and the love for the game has never died. Volleyball has not only taught me the skills on the court but has bettered me as a person in more than one way. I have learned that being positive even in the worse of situations can help, even in the smallest of ways. I have also learned that it is okay to make a mistake because it does not matter what just happened, what matters more is what is coming next.
I plan to finish high school with a 3.8 - 4.0 gpa and to excel in AP classes. I plan to finish GEAC (Global Education Achievement Certificate) and Advanced History Certificate, both of which are certificates for finishing advanced classes and doing multiple community service projects and serving service hours, in GEAC this also means traveling to different part of the world. In college I plan to major in psychology and possibly social work, all while fulfilling my dream of continuing my volleyball career. While in high school I have learned that the only way to get where you dream to be is through hard work and dedication. I have learned that if you want something bad enough then you must work your hardest and give your all in order to get there. This has applied mostly when getting my desired grades in advanced classes while trying to juggle playing volleyball. Between juggling school and volleyball I have become a more well rounded and organized person with good time management skills.
I am a very dedicated, positive, hardworking, organized, good at time management and outgoing individual. My number one goal as not just an athlete, but as a person, is to try and better myself at every opportunity given. I have, and will continue to strive the extra mile and give forth my all in athletics and in schooling.
