Maureen Schick Ga...Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball since I was in fifth grade. Since I first stepped on the court, I have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is very difficult, but the rewarding experience that I could gain from it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I am a team leader, and I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates along the way. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players on and off the court.
In the classroom, I maintain a high GPA and continue to push myself academically. I am also a member of our school's student government and service club.
I want to attend a college that is both academically and athletically strong. I am very open and am ultimately looking for a college where I can compete at the highest level I possibly can.
