I started playing volleyball when I was ten years old and have been in love with the sport ever since. My favorite aspects of volleyball are that it can be very intense and that every time you touch the ball you affect the team. My best qualities I believe on the court are being a positive team player, a strong leader, and continually adding excitement to the game. I want to be a collegiate volleyball player because I want to continue playing the sport I love and gain a quality education and experience while playing it. I look forward to play for a coach that is a good teacher, mentor and energetic about team sports! Outside of volleyball I participate in school softball as well. I was freshman class president and sophomore class vice president at my school. I volunteer my time at our local giving closet (non-profit clothing provider to people in need) and assist in coaching and teaching for local youth (elementary) volleyball teams. I enjoy community service with my church youth group helping the homeless with food and clothes.
