My name is McKenna Milholland and I am a senior setter at Todd Beamer High school in Federal Way Washington. I would love to play college level volleyball. I have played club volleyball for 6 years. I first played club at South End Volleyball Club for two years then moved on to play on the national team for South Sound Volleyball Club for a year. I later returned to South End and I now play on their national team.
I've earned 3 varsity letters at my high school and I have started on varsity since my sophomore year, with head coach Pat Taitano. During my past high school season I averaged about 10.5 assists per game. I was also named 2nd team all conference in South Puget Sound Conference. During my Junior high school season I received an award from a website called MaxPreps naming me the player of the week for the state of Washington because I earned the best stats. I have also been captain at my club for the past two years so I have good leadership experience.
For the past couple of years I have volunteered at my middle school, Illahee, coaching the middle school players. During the summers I enjoy volunteering at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in a program called zoo guides. I just finished my second year of volunteering at the zoo. Over the last two years I logged over 300 hours at the zoo.
For college I am interested in majoring in Psychology and seeking a minor in Criminal Justice. I currently have a 3.5 cumulative GPA and I am scheduled to take my ACT in June of 2015.
