Megan Lookabaugh '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Megan Lookabaugh. I am 5 foot 9 and weigh 125 pounds. My Sophomore year, I recieved All Conference 2nd Team, All Region 2nd Team, and All Tournament. My Junior year, I recieved All Conference 1st Team, All Region 2nd Team, and All Tournament at the Regional and National tournaments. I have played volleyball since I was in 7th grade (5 years) and have played for travel clubs for three years now. I just finished playing travel for Crossroads Volleyball Club . The videos on my page are from my travel team from my Sophomore year. During 7th, 8th, and 9th grade JV volleyball for school, I was team captain. It is my dream to play volleyball in college and maybe someday be a school coach or travel coach while also being an Athletic Trainer. I want to go to a school relatively close to home (Virginia) for college.The major things I look for in a school is a good Athletic Training program and good athletic program. I'm not really looking to go to a huge school since I will graduate from a class that has 22 people in it.I would personally rather be on a team where everyone is good than be on a team where I'm the best. I'd rather have to work to get a spot on the court than have my spot handed to me because there is really no other option. Im the kind of person that is a little bit shy at first, but after a couple days with me I'll be full of energy. I don't care about what division school I play for, I just want to be comfortable with the school and the coach. I look forward to any opportunity of possibly going to a school to play volleyball and get a good education.
