Personal Statement

I have been playing volleyball since I was 11 and have seen myself improving each year. As a 3.5 GPA student, I would like to play for a college that has a strong women's volleyball program where I can also major in the fields of Zoology or Biology.

I consistently push myself each practice so that I can improve and I am always seeking guidance from my coaches on how I can better my skills as a Middle Hitter.  I watch highlight videos of other players online and practice at home when I'm not studying to sharpen my skills on the court. I'm a team player that always encourages my teammates through our victories and losses.

As a freshman at Colonial Forge Highschool, I also have a class load that consists of all honors and one AP course. I have been taking honors courses since the eighth grade and my goal is to be pushed academically so I can continue to stand out among my peers. I have been performing community service monthly where I feed the homeless. I am also a member of the Praise and Worship team at my church.

I hustle on the court and in the classroom and my desire is to find a college that will provide the right fit both athletically and academically.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
