Personal Statement

In the future, I would like to pursue something in the field of science. in all honesty, I'm not sure what yet, but I strongly believe that my academics will allow me to chose whatever I want to do and succeed in it. I want an amazing education, preferably at a university with an elaborate science program.

As for volleyball, I have such a love for the sport. I love when I get that perfect dig and it makes my entire day even if the rest of it was bad. When I've had a bad day, I know I can look forward to practice to relieve my stress and completely change my mood.

I hate missing practice because I feel like I'm missing out on getting better. I feel, and have been told, that I am a very strong leader on and off the court and I have a strong effect on people's moods. When my teammates are down, I manage to figure out the right thing to say to them. I can lift spirits by being goofy, but I also have good focus because of my hunger to improve. It'd be my dream to be able to do what I love not only as a kid but as an adult in college and possibly beyond.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
