Macy Burk '20 Recruiting Profile

     I have developed a love for volleyball over the last 3 years and desire to make an impact at the collegiate level. I wear the proud badge of being a military "Brat" as my father has served in the United States Army for the last 22 years. We have been through multiple moves during my life that has taught me the ability to adapt to new environments, form friendships with new teammates easier, flexibility, and resiliency. 

     I began playing volleyball in the eighth grade and instantly was drawn to the competitive nature of the sport. Upon moving to Northern Virginia, I began playing for my high school and local club team. I've had to adapt to a variety of coaching styles related to my frequent moves so I think I am highly coachable as well. 

    I'm looking forward to improving as a player and person and look forward to the future.
