Ashtin Battista '13 Recruiting Profile

I have wanted to play college volleyball ever since my freshman year in high school. I never thought I would have the opportunity to follow my dream but God has blessed me with my talents and skills to pursue it. I love this sport and the life lessons it teaches. It shows that everyone has their place in this world, whether it is in an office, on the court or just around the house we all have to work together to make sure our goals are achieved. The feeling I get when I go up to hit, block, or even when a ball is coming right at my face is indescribable. I love to prove to myself and to others how I am capable of getting the job done. I want my teammates to trust me to do my part; I like to trust them to do their part. I am always happy to meet new people and I will always try my hardest to make my new teammates and coaches proud to call me apart of the team.
