Kelsey Leech '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6", 125 lb.senior volleyball player from Whitney, Texas. I play several positions including outside hitter, DS, and libero.This will be my 3rd year on varsity where I serve as team captain. My junior year accolades included District 15-2A Defensive MVP, Academic All-District, Super Centex Honorable Mention, and team MVP. As a sophomore I received several awards including 2nd team all-district, academic all-district, team defensive MVP, and Super Centex Newcomer of the Year. I just completed my third year of club volleyball, playing for WUVBA (Waco Ultimate Volleyball Academy). I am a very competitive athlete. Because of this, I want to play college ball at a highly competitive level and am open to colleges at all divisions. I would definitely like a position on a college team my freshman year. Since all of my family lives in Texas, I am interested in schools within the state or in very close proximity to Texas. At this time I have not yet declared a major, but I currently hold a 3.6 GPA. My goal is to pursue a college degree while at the same time being a major contributor to a volleyball program at the highest level possible.
