UPDATE: AS OF 3/24/13 -
I am in the beginning stages of changing my profile to show my volleyball
credentials. I have played women's basketball this past year for Brenita
Williams-Jackson at Cisco Junior College, in Cisco, TX. In high school, I
played both sports and since basketball was the last sport to be played, I
felt the transition to continue to play would be in my best interest. Two
weeks ago, I had an open and honest discussion with my coach and let her
know that I would not be playing basketball any longer. She was very
gracious and commended me on my honesty. I miss and need to play volleyball
again.
I played for First Baptist Academy High School in Universal City, TX. I was
team captain for three years (from my Sophomore through Senior year.) I was
named First Team All District for three years and Second Team All District my Freshman year. I have won MVP tournament
awards and would be willing to discuss these awards with you further. I
played all around on front row AND back row. I also have recruited my former
hitting coach to play better than what I did in high school and will be
working with him this summer.
Until I can properly edit my page, any of my former coaches (hitting and/or high school coach) can answer any specific questions you may have for any serious inquiry.
Thank you for your consideration.
God bless,
Ashley Antonetz
