I have been playing volleyball since I was in the third grade. I have played other sports like basketball and softball, but have always felt more passionate about volleyball. When I attended the NCAA Volleyball Championships in San Antonio, I knew that playing college volleyball was a goal of mine. Playing college volleyball would be an opportunity of a lifetime that would create lasting memories and experiences that would lead to unbelievable opportunities.
My coaches have taught me many different aspects of the game. I have played a variety of positions which has allowed me to develop a great sense of court awareness. I am a very disciplined and well conditioned athlete who believes "you practice how you play." I am a team player and believe in giving 110%. I value all of my coach's critiques of my strengths and weaknesses as they have led me to become a well rounded player.
I take my academics very seriously. I hold a high GPA and take honor courses. I am a class officer, school mentor, and have volunteered at my church and local community organizations.
My desire is to attend a college and pursue a degree in the medical field as well as play volleyball. I am open to any and all possibilities that may come my way, but my academic program is a priority. My goal is to be an outstanding student athlete and be a role model to my younger sister.
