Olivia Nelson '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Olivia Nelson and I am a middle blocker/right side from Plano Texas graduating in 2018. I go to Plano West Senior High school and Ive been playing volleyball my entire high school career and I also play club volleyball as well. My dream since I was a little is to play college volleyball.  Academics plays a big role in my life and they will continue to be an important part throughout my college career. I do plan on playing in college because its helped me be more motivated in school with grades, and having a team is like another family which has impacted my love for the game greatly. I hope to be a part of a team that achieves something bigger than one individual can accomplish.  Volleyball is the ultimate team sport, and in college, I hope to be a part of the greatest team mentality that anyone could ever experience. I believe I would make a great candidate for your team because of how self motivated I am and how determined I am as a player. No one will work harder than me and I am very open to different coaching methods. If I am given the opportunity to play college volleyball, I will not let you down and give my all on and off the court. Thank you for your time.
