Mayda Garcia '16 Recruiting Profile

It has always been my dream to be able to play at the collegiate level. Along with playing college ball, I want to pursue my goals in studying to become a Physical Therapist. I am a hard worker in the classroom and on the court. I plan on graduating top 10 percent in my class. Being a motivated and dedicated athlete, I became a starter freshman year and Captain sophomore year. I push myself and my teammates to be better and smarter players. I am self driven and won't stop until I am satisfied with the outcome. I lead by example during drills and warm-ups, and during the game with helping my teammates. Being a versatile player, I have played middle but my primary position is outside and I play all the way around. I am willing to work hard to play any position that needs to be played. I am up for any challenge that may come my way and won't give up until I come out successful.
