Bailey Martin '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bailey Martin.  I am currently 16 years old and will be a junior as of August 2011.  I will graduate from Lovejoy High School in May of 2013.  I play starting Libero on Dallas Premier Mizuno 16 Club Team and am a Libero/DS on my High School Varsity Team.  I have played club volleyball since I was 11 years old.  Prior to that, I played in the Allen City League starting in 2nd grade.  Along with volleyball, I have participated in Performance Training Camps every summer since 2nd grade for the months of June and July.  My strength is my athleticism and quickness.  I have won several Defensive Player of the Year awards on both school & club teams.  I always give 110% all the time, whether it is practice or game day.  I consistantly come in first in the mile and sprints on the Varsity Team at Lovejoy High School.  I was pulled up as a freshman to play with the Varsity Team during the State Playoff run, and our Varsity Team has now won state 3 years in a row (2009, 2010, 2011), which I am proud to be a part of for the past 2 years.  I maintain a 3.9 GPA and have consistently been All Academic each year.  I plan to major in Dentistry.  I would love to pursue my dream of continuing my education in college along with playing volleyball.  Thank you for the opportunity to tell you about myself.
