Personal Statement

www.GabrieleWhite.com

My first goal is to play volleyball in college. I want to do this because I saw Molly Werts playing in high school and she just seemed like she was having fun. She is a setter just like me. Molly's mom was one of my coaches (Shawna Werts), she lives right by me so I got to know their family really well. Just two weeks ago she signed to play for Loyola in college next year. Also, my current coach (Edward Bond) believes that because I am a tall setter that I have a greater chance of colleges wanting me to play for them. That is if I keep up my hard work and don't let anyone bring me down. It would be one of my greatest accomplishments.

My second goal is to inspire someone. I have always wanted to be a role model for someone whether they are old or young. If I inspire them by playing volleyball or if it's just because I stood up for someone. I guess its because the people I look up to have many others who also look up to them. I think it would be cool if someone looked up to me.

My third goal is to teach volleyball to younger kids who strive to be better. I think it is important to pass what I have learned and the things I love down to others. I would like to stay involved in volleyball even after I am done playing and I enjoy teaching kids. I think it would be fun to create new drills and watch the kids grow and improve.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
