Taylor Robinson '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was  11 years old, when my Mom first introduced me to the sport.  Since I first stepped on the court,  I have aspired to play at the collegiate level.  I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. 

I am very competitive, I have quick movement on the court, I have soft hands and strong defense.   I am an Outside all around player for both my High School Varsity and Blocksport Volleyball Club teams.  I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also uplifting my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

One of my biggest aspirations is to continue my volleyball career out of high school and play at a college level.  My collegiate goals would be to pursue a degree in criminology and to minor in sociology.  In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA of 3.7.   I am very determined,  hardworking, and I love the sport I play. 

Outside of volleyball, I like to listen to music and spend time with my friends and family.   I am always up for a challenge both academically and on the volleyball court.  I strive to also be a leader, which is why I am a member of the Leadership Academy Club at my high school.    I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and to continue to make my parents proud.
