I am a hard working student athlete; both in the classroom and on the court. I work hard to excel in both arenas. With volleyball I work constantly on my technique so that I can further improve my overall level of play. On the academic side I bring the same focus and intensity. I love to play volleyball because it requires one hundred percent focus every point, and because the sport teaches the benefits of hard work and team work. Because I did not start competitively playing volleyball until my freshman year I had to work harder than most of my teammates to reach the same skill level, however; being average has never been satisfactory for me. For example; even when I am not initially the starting middle, I have shown determination, commitment, and hard work to earn the top position. I also strive to make good grades and be a leader in my community. I regularly volunteer at CCA (Christian Community Action) and my school in order to be an outstanding leader. I am an outgoing, hardworking, dedicated student athlete and I will continue to work hard and improve both my personal strengths and weakness' (on and off the court) as well as to help my team to reach our full potential.
