Alyssa Barclay '17 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Alyssa Barclay.  I am the last of 4 daughters in my family. I have been playing volleyball since 6^th grade. My goal is to play on the collegiate level. With this goal in mind comes a realization of an incredible opportunity with life changing potential.

In playing in a team environment, I understand the value of being a team player. As a team captain and leader, leading by example is just as important on and off the court. I was taught at an early that there is no substitute for hard work and a great attitude.  I listen diligently to all my coaches and work extremely hard day in and day out.

Off the court, in the classroom, and community, I strive for excellence.  My objective is to attend a college with an environment that is conducive to challenging me both on and off the court.
