My goals for college are to make a team where I am pushed hard and able to show my dedication. What makes me a good candidate for a team is while my strengths are setting and hitting, I am a very versatile player that can be plugged into any position at the time of need and get the job done. My freshman year, from school season through club season I played setter, outside and d.s . I received the Freshman Team MVP award. I push my teammates in practice and in games to do their best, but I do this in an encouraging way. I never bring a teammate down but only build them up. What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics is I always set my base line at 100%. With my character, if I see one of my teammates being challenged by the coach I always do my best to be an encourager to them when the time is appropriate; I always build my teammates up even when they are down. What makes me different in athletics is I am able to play any position in volleyball. Not only that but, I am able to go into tough situations in games and do what it takes to get the job done. Lastly, if I make a mistake I don't let it tear me down but I let it motivate me to do better next time and it gives me something to work on in practice. What makes me different in academics is I try my hardest to keep all my grades at the top of the class. If I am falling short of that goal it drives me to focus more on that class so I can raise my grade up to the top. I have enjoyed the challenge that my current honors and A.P. classes have presented to me. In conclusion, my moral compass and ethics would be a positive addition to any team.
