Regan Robertson '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'8 I weigh 120 pounds. I am a setter, defensive specialist, and right side hitter. I have played high school varsity since I was an 8th grader and started each year. I have received all district awards as a freshman, and junior. I have played club ball for 6 years, I also started each year that I have played. I have been told by many coaches that I am a very good leader and that if I am asked to so something I do it. I am very coachable and very outgoing, I am a big team player. I do things on the court not just for me but for the girls on the team in volleyball you have to play for the other players on the court or things are not going to go right I love this about the sport because it brings the true meaning of team to the girls who play it. I am looking for a school that I can get playing time, I want to go to a smaller school so that I have more opportunity to play the sport that I love. My family and I do need finical aid in the search for schools, I have an older brother in college also which makes money tight so I would have to be applying for financial aid. I have always wanted to be a teacher and that is what I have decided to major in, I have not yet decided between early childhood or secondary, but I do know education is the way I want to go. I want to be able to play in college  I know that I would rather look into d11, d111, naia and junior colleges, if I do this then I will be able to have more opportunity to play the sport that I love. Being a d1 athlete does not mean that much to me but being a college athlete means everything to me.
