Keri Godbe '12 Recruiting Profile

I am very excited about the opportunity to play volleyball in college. I have been playing since 6th grade, and have been an outside hitter,setter, and defensive specialist. This past season I made the junior varsity team at my school setting all the way around. During hitting lines however, the head coach saw me hit and had me specialize at last as an outside hitter. I then got to play jv and varsity for the rest of the season. I have been a team captain of my 16's team in club, and a team co-captain of my summer league. My coaches can vouch for me when I say I am very persistent, hard-working, never complaining, and always arriving first to practice. No matter how strenuous practice is, I am always disappointed when it is over due to my love for the sport. Along with volleyball, I plan to study pre-med in college. I am top 5% in my class despite the fact I skipped a grade. I am looking for a college that suits both my academic endeavors and my desire to compete  on an intercollegiate volleyball team.
