Rebekah Ugenti '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rebekah Ugenti and I am a left handed setter. I have played volleyball since I was eight years old and have grown to love the sport enough to want to play at the highest level possible. I’m looking for a college which will give me the varsity experience at the highest collegiate level I can reach in addition to a strong education in my fields of interest (visual arts and business). I hope to find this experience with a coach who wants me for who I am. I’m a competitive, creative, dedicated, hard-working, loyal teammate and friend. Hopefully the program I play for will attract a wide variety of others who I will call life-long friends. I can perform well under pressure to help make a team successful. I have experience running both a 5-1 and a 6-2 offensive strategy as well as hitting right side. When my teammates are in need of a helping hand, a pat on the back, a high five, or encouraging words I’m there for them to offer support. I’m able to read the defense blockers well and execute offensive plays against that defense. For the next four years I look forward to the chance to be mentored by my coach and teammates. I will not stop working until I master the level of play and achieve the goals of my teammates.
