Alicia Dennis '17 Recruiting Profile

     I am hard-working, attentive, driven, coach-able and very responsible.  I believe the team is the star -- not the individual.  However, I also believe the athlete who works and trains hard should be celebrated for their individual efforts by their teammates and coaches without reservation.  I hope to be on a team that refuses to settle for second best; a team that goes on the court to win because that's the attitude and spirit I bring to the court.  The college coach and volleyball team I want to play for will fight hard for every point because every point does matter.  I want everything I do in my life to matter, and to always give my very best effort.

     I have played as an outside hitter, middle hitter, opposite/right side hitter, defense specialist and libero positions.  I have played 6-rotations on my club and high school teams.  I will continue to work at each position, including improving my setting skills, and believe I have the all-around volleyball IQ needed to be an asset to any college volleyball team.
