Sarah Sanderson '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sarah Sanderson and I am a senior at Woodrow Wilson High School. I have been playing volleyball for about 5 years. I have played club for the MAC for two years as well as PDX for two years. While playing on the MAC team I was team captain and voted MVP and most inspirational by my team mates.I am playing for a new club this year. Portland Volleyball Club on the Gold Team. I am a 5'8" outside hitter and defensive specialist, although I am willing to try any position.

I want to continue playing volleyball at a higher level. I am looking for a D2, D3, NAIA, Small class sizes are very important to me due to the fact that I struggle with ADD and anxiety. My parents and I are not concerned about the proximity of college to home. I am willing to travel and view this as an opportunity to spread my wings and fly. I am pursuing a degree in elementary education. I want to become a teacher and possibly a volleyball coach to give back to a sport I love.
