Chelsea Martel '15 Recruiting Profile

I am 18, and have been playing volleyball since grade 4. I am very passionate and work towards becoming a better person and athlete everyday. I'm 5'5 and have primarily been a setter. I have played off-side and and back row and am open to any position. I am currently attending Rainy River Community College and play on their women's volleyball team as a setter and back row player. I am wanting to transfer to a 4-year university where I can continue to play at a competitive level. I am interested in a degree in architecture, interior design, fashion design, or outdoor adventure education. I have overcome major hurdles in my sporting career that have pushed me to work harder to achieve my goals. These obstacles have showed me I have what it takes to accomplish whatever I put my mind to. I am a focused and strategic player. I have a great attitude and always try to lift my teammates up. I am a leader and I put my heart into this amazing game.
