Sydney Breckenridge '17 Recruiting Profile

    Playing volleyball in College would not only be a blessing but a dream come true. The thought of playing volleyball at a higher level occurred to me as a Freshmen in High school. I decided to give club volleyball a shot and was expecting to play on a more local team. They said they saw something in me and couldn't even tell that I was a newcomer, so they asked me to play on the ones team. That's where my love and hunger for the game grew.

    I feel I add a sense of leadership and encouragement to the team. I'm someone to look up to as an upperclassmen due to my 4.17 GPA and, positive, driven attitude on and off the court. On the court my quickness, communication, and anticipation skills allow me to play multiple positions-setter, outside, right side, and DS. I have a strong will to improve as an team, and a player; I will be the type of player to ask " What can I do better?" and apply the advice given.
