Taylor Turner '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taylor Turner and I'm a 6'0" 17 year old setter/right side. I have played sports all my life and they're all important to me. In kindergarden I started basketball and grew up as a power forward. I started every year for every team I played on. I also was on the top of all the statistics. 

I started volleyball in 5th grade as my "second sport". It didn't take long for me to start loving it more and wanting to play it more and soon it became my first love. In 8-9th grade I decided I wanted to go to college for volleyball. But not just any college, I wanted to go as far as I could go, be the best I could be, and play to my furthest potential. I would have started as a freshman on varsity but my coach carried a policy against that. I enjoyed starting as sophomore and junior, and next year I'm looking forward to leading my team my senior year.

My dad always told me to reach for the stars but keep my feet on the ground. So I'm searching for the best finacial opportunity for my family, and keeping all options open is important. I would like to go play volleyball somewhere where I can make an impact on my team, be the leader that I am, and put all my athletic skills to work. I would like to go to a college not just good at volleyball, but has a good solid education program and a great atmosphere where I can give as well as receive.
