My name is Reagan Ingstad. I am currently a junior at Valley City High School in Valley City, ND. I am 5’6” and play the position of setter on both my high school varsity team and my club team.
I started my volleyball career when I was 11 years old. Our local club team did not have enough players to fill a 14U team that my older sister played on and they invited me to play. I was hooked on the sport.
As a freshman in high school, I made the varsity team at VCHS. By the midpoint of the season, I was a starter. I was a starter for my sophomore season and also had the huge honor of being voted a team captain by my teammates. I finished my sophomore season being voted the team MVP, receiving the HiLiner Award (player who demonstrates a combination of dedication and team spirit) and leading the team in assists (501) and aces (35).
I believe that I have many qualities to bring to a team. I am passionate about volleyball and have a desire to play at the most competitive level possible. I am an effective communicator both on and off the court. I am self-motivated and enjoy the challenge of motivating others. My coaches describe me as a team leader and very hard worker.
I believe that it is important to balance athletics with academics and other activities. While at VCHS, I have also been involved with basketball (2 season on the varsity team, 1st year as a starter) and tennis (4 years varsity; 3 years All-State, 2 years State Runner-Up in Doubles). I enjoy being a member of the VCHS Varsity Choir. I am also active in my church youth group and as a volunteer at church and with our local United Way organization.NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the exclusive athletic recruiting network that educates, assists, and connects, families, coaches and companies so they can save time and money, get ahead and give back.
