My name is Suzanne "Elly" Cosgrove and I am a member of the graduating class of 2015. I am currently a junior at Hoggard High School in Wilmington, NC. Volleyball plays a huge role in my life, going from school ball to club ball and then to beach, it is basically year round. It is my ultimate goal to play volleyball in college. I currently play outside hitter for both my club and school team. However, I have also played middle and even libero! Although my primary position is outside, I would be more than willing to play middle or back row for any college coach. My enthusiasm is off the charts. I will do whatever it takes to play volleyball in college and I am ready to play at the next level. Not only am I an avid volleyball player, but also a devoted student-athlete. Good grades are very important to me and when I go to college I would like to major in biology. After college, I would like to apply to dental school followed by orthodontic school. All in all, playing volleyball in college would be the perfect spring board to begin the next chapter of my life. I am the type of player that has the drive to continue to excel and make any college proud to have me as a member of their student body.
