I am who I have become. Flourishing through experiences and advice, I have been shaped by others around me. Each person has something to offer and I yearn to glean what little I can from everyone, for they leave an impacting impression that may assist me in life. My time on earth has been wholly pleasant and fulfilling, mainly due to my family and friends that have helped me grow into the individual I am now. I pride myself in my patience where others may falter, and I love interacting with people solely to learn. Learning is the epitome of awe-inspiring feats which one can accomplish, and the only way to broaden one’s knowledge is to be open-minded to various situations and views. College is my opportunity to grow in knowledge; there I may further develop the skills I need to succeed in life.
NCSA offers assistance to seek the knowledge I so need, not only in academics, but in the sports as well. The craving within me to attend a university is due not only to the courses, but to the people I will encounter; optimistic and lighthearted ideals occupy my being, and saturate my senses until the happiness seeps into the people that surround me. Many people note my idiosyncrasy of making others smile and laugh, for it pleases me to see another person content, and I see that nothing can bring joy to my heart quite as much as a pleasant event shared between someone else and myself. Selflessness is an objective I hope to portray to any who will bump into me in their life, whether the encounter is a fleeting moment, or a lifelong friendship.
The friendships I build often stem from the competitiveness I possess; placing people who excel near to me enhances my abilities in a multitude of areas, which thrills me. My healthy want for improvement in all aspects of my life allows me to garner developments in the way I exert myself, which is driven by my competitive nature. I will put forth all the effort I possess into a mundane task merely to succeed or excel, thus showing my dedication. Everything I produce is of my highest quality, for anything less is unacceptable.
Dedication aligned with selflessness and the desire to learn delineates my work ethics, and my social skills will benefit me in interacting with various people to attain my goal. I aspire to be an athlete in college, and NCSA will help with this goal be met. This is me; accept me for who I am, not for anything other than myself, for I will be beneficial as an athlete, if given the opportunity.
