2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My love for volleyball began in 6th grade as a team manager. My passion has grown by leaps and bounds throughout Middle and High School. My goal since the beginning has been to play collegiate level volleyball for a team where I can utilize my skills and continue to grow personally and as a strong team. I have experience in every position on the court, but my strongest positions are (OS) outside and (RS) right side. I am also a consistent and accurate passer, and I am always willing to be moved around the court to suit the needs of the team. One of my best attributes is that no matter what the score is or how the game is going, I always encourage and cheer my teammates along. I strive to ALWAYS have a positive attitude!
In early elementary I was acknowledged as a high academic student and enlisted in the AIG program. I was asked to be a part of the Duke Tip program which afforded me the opportunity to take the ACT as a 7th grader and I was awarded for a high score.
In addition to the 6 years of school volleyball, I've played 4 years of JO travel ball with Alamance Force Volleyball Club in Burlington, NC.
