I think as a player would be the ability to find the ball and make a play; I have a great court awareness and game IQ; I am coachable and excited to play and learn volleyball at the next level. Out of my college experience I hope to gain more insight on what it means to come together as a team and work together for the benefit of everyone. Playing at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine since I was young, and working towards this goal is my ultimate fight.
My number one goal on and off the court is winning. If that means losing a few times to know and understand why it's important to win, so be it. I think that if you put 100% into your craft (on and off the court and classroom), and work to perfect it every time you get the chance, then it is the formula for a successful season; success is only defined how you define it. I would say that success is maximizing potential and achieving the goals you set for yourself and others set for you. One of my great aspects, on and off the court is learning. I've been told that "growth is in discomfort", and I believe that that is entirely true.
Off the court, I work hard at what I do in the classroom to round out all different aspects to be able to connect with more people. The more skills and traits I harness, the easier it is for me to find more people to relate to.
I believe that as a person, player, and student you can ultimately bring the three together to represent the best person you were made to be.
