Chloe Kong '17 Recruiting Profile

        My name is Chloe Kong and I am a 5'4" Libero/DS/Setter from Chester, NJ.  I am currently in my senior year at Mendham High School.  I have attended several college camps this past summer and here are some of the feedback that I have received. My passing technique is excellent.  I also have good court vision and anticipation.  One of my uniqueness is my quickness to position and high volleyball I.Q.  I consider myself an energetic, positive and competitive player, as well as a very discipline and the kind of player that always pushes to reach a higher level. 

        Here are some of my best accomplishments this past school season.  I received the 1st Team N.J.A.C All Conference, Mendham High School Volleyball 2016 Most Valuable Player, Mendham Volleyball Susan McAdams Award for Leadership. Most Importantly, I broke the School Record exceeding over 500 digs in only 2 seasons.   

        For my club volleyball, I have been playing at the National level for the past three years.  Currently, I play the Libero position on the 18 Black Team at Central Jersey Volleyball Academy (CJVA) in Flemington, NJ.    This club season, we are undefeated and rank 1st in the GEVA region.  My team also won the bid to National and will be competing in Dallas, Texas in April!

        Academically, I currently have a 3.75 GPA while taking AP/IB/HN classes. In addition, I am a mentor with the Chester Township Mentoring Program working with 5th graders.  I'm also a PALS leader at my High school.  As for my college major, I will be studying Pre-Med/Pre-Health.
