Hanna Spevak '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Hanna Spevak and I live in Reno, NV. I'm a senior at Robert McQueen High School and am a member of the Global Studies program, which allows me to learn about both Spanish and German language and culture. I'm taking five AP classes and have a GPA of 4.8. I'm a starter on my school's varsity volleyball team and play all six rotations. I was awarded to the All-League 2nd Team and the Nevada All-State Academic Team.

I am excited to play in college like my cousin who played football at the University of Wisconsin and my other cousin who played football and baseball at Northwestern University.

I have played for Nevada Blaze Volleyball Club for  4 years, and this most recent season, my 5th year of club,  I played on the Silver State 18-1 Mizuno team. I have attended two USAV High Performance camps and have attended the past two AVCA Phenom programs.

I'm not only hard working but I am also able to balance school, sports, and social time effectively. I am a team player and understand the dynamics of good chemistry and bonding between a team. I can bring a team together. I'm a strong leader and can get along with others easily. In college, I aspire to be the best student-athlete I can be and give my all every day in practice and at school.
